Our 6 year old has always had some trouble sleeping. This blanket has helped with some of those issues and helped her settling into her bed in the evening. It is just the right size and heaviness that she feels very comfortable . We have also taken it along for many travels already ( car mainly) and it has helped her during those trips. We have washed it many times and it seems to hold up just fine !! Very happy with the purchase !! The design is great and the colors are vibrant too.

For transitioning from crib to toddler bed.
My toddler is 2.3 years old! He just learned how to climb out of his crib. And it was time for a toddler bed. He is a sensitive little boy and even though I can get him to sleep easily on the bed he doesn’t stay asleep. This blanket is perfect at 3 pounds so it’s like a light hug! I think he likes the weight it’s been helping each night he sleeps a little longer. I love the pattern and color. Easy to use and it looks like it was made well hopefully after a wash the durability will stay the same.

I got this for my daughter who struggles with falling asleep and she really loves it! She said it helps her feel like she’s getting snuggles! I was worried it would be too heavy, but it’s a great size and weight for her! It’s also an adorable pattern, so that helps!

Cotton exterior
The lining is cotton, filling is nontoxic glass beads and polyester. Finding 100% cotton was tough, so this was a good option. Build quality seems good.

Best birthday gift for my girl. She loves it!!!I purchased this weighted blanket as a birthday gift for my 6-year old daughter. She loves the cute cat patterns and pink color, uses it every day and night.My little girl is energetic and dynamic, so she is always hard to fall asleep. One of my colleagues shared this blanket with me and told me it works with her son. So I purchased it, hoping that the weighted blanket can calm her down and help her sleep fast.Amazing! It really works. My daughter sleeps better and better in the past week. Also, she is much more focused and creative. The blanket is made of cotton, soft and breathable, won’t hurt kids’ skin. But it may be too warm for children who are hot-sleepers. Perfect for cool nights, fall and winter.There are small beads inside, like the sand on the beach. It can hold the kids like a hug and prevent them from tossing and turning, thus the kids can sleep better.My girl is satisfied with her birthday gift, and it really does its work. Recommend if your little ones have some sleeping difficulties.

I purchased this for my 3 year old who has never been a great sleeper. She would be take 30-45 min to fall sleep and wake several times a night, be up at 530am.Since getting this 3 lbs weighted blanked .. which is the perfect size and weight for her, she settles quickly for storey time, take 5-10 min to fall asleep, has longer sleep periods. Her quality of sleep has definitely improved. Although she still wakes once a night and is up at 6am, I know her quality of sleep is much better.Her behaviour is more manageable as she is better rested.I was very nervous to get this as my child is petite, 35 lbs at 3 years old but the 3 lbs blanket is perfect weight for her. The colour and pattern is very cute and she loves her new blanket.Is you are reading this and a tired mom like I was … get the blanket!! It is worth it!

The fabric on unicorn side is a little rough for lack of a better word. If you have a sensory kid this might be an issue. Otherwise very nice blanket and great quality overall
