    Great compression shorts
DFND has been a hit or miss brand for me, great when it’s good, pretty awful when it’s bad. These are the former, for sure. First, they do the critical thing of compressing everywhere they should and nowhere they shouldn’t. Fellas, you know exactly what I mean. They are novel (to me at least) in also having a drawstring, which is welcome as I wear them during high movement activities. That said, I think even without it they do a fantastic job of staying in place, I haven’t had them shift or bunch even after extended workouts or runs. They are decent at moisture wicking but more importantly breathable enough that wicking becomes secondary. I have been hang-drying them as I don’t like to risk shrinking an already snug garment, and they dry nicely and relatively quickly. Subjectively, my partner says they make my butt look good, but I have purposely excluded any photos in my review for the public good. Buy and judge for yourself on aesthetics.

Solid compression, but overpriced for what you get
They claim to have “the most powerful compression on earth” — and while I can’t speak to that exactly, the compression is definitely strong and supportive. Great for workouts or recovery, and the material feels durable like it’ll hold up over time. That said, I don’t agree with the current $82 price tag. The product is solid, but I’ve bought similar compression shorts with comparable quality for less than half the cost. That’s why I’m only giving it 3 stars.

    Great shorts compressions
Great for if you have looser skin in your legs and you want to have a better fit or hold the skin in while exercising.

    Compression everywhere
They didn’t provide a size chart, so I was a bit unsure about which size to choose—especially since these are my first pair of compression shorts. I have a 34”–35” waist and usually wear size large in underwear, so I went with the large. I’m glad I did because they fit well and offer a good amount of compression.I measured them when they arrived (size Large), and they were approximately 14 1/2” wide and 14 1/4” long. I hand-washed them the first time since I wanted to try them out sooner rather than later. There’s an internal waist drawstring, but I didn’t need to use it because the fit was snug enough on its own. I wore them all day and could feel the compression without experiencing any discomfort or irritation. The leg openings also stayed in place throughout the day—unlike most of my regular underwear, which tend to ride up.There are no internal tags to irritate the skin, and the fabric stretches in all directions, which is essential for me when it comes to compression gear. The material is soft, dense, and about twice the thickness of my usual underwear. Nothing showed through, either. The stitching is really good and the material panel layout feels natural to me.I didn’t find any care instructions in the packaging, so I visited their website and found the following:
Machine wash in cold water with like colors. Tumble dry on a cool setting or hang to dry in a cool, shady area away from the sun. Do not use bleach, fabric softeners, or dryer sheets. Do not iron.Overall I like these USA made compression shorts.

Solid Compression Shorts for Recovery and Workouts
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for compression shorts that weren’t just for show but actually offered support during workouts and recovery. These stood out for being made in the USA, having legit graduated compression, and looking more performance-focused than fashion-focused.Comfort:They’re snug like you’d expect, but not suffocating. The waistband doesn’t dig in, and the seams are smooth so there’s no rubbing or irritation. Great for wearing solo or under workout gear.Workout value:These work well during both high-intensity workouts and recovery sessions. I’ve used them for running and weight training, and they’ve helped with muscle fatigue and soreness. Definitely not just hype.Material thickness:The material feels premium—thicker than standard athletic shorts but still breathable. It’s supportive without being stiff, and it doesn’t stretch out or go see-through.Value for money:They’re a little pricier than big box options, but the quality makes it worth it. You’re getting real compression and long-term durability here, not just the look of athletic wear.Quality:Top-tier construction. The stitching is clean, and the fabric has held up well after multiple washes with no loose threads or pilling.Fit:Fits true to size for me. They hug in all the right places without riding up or sliding down during workouts. The 5″ length is great for freedom of movement too.

Excellent compression shorts made in the USA
I’ve never had compression shorts like these before! I also have the longer “pants” version of these DFND compression shorts, and they too are wonderful. The compression is just right — not overly tight to be uncomfortable in all the wrong places and not loose like boxers. They are steep, but the value is quite good, especially considering they’re made in the USA. The material is breathable, so I’m not left overly sweating on these hot, hot summer days. Movement is not restrictive, and I can go on my runs and recover faster after working out. They launder easily, and I would recommend cold water setting. I’m very pleased with this compression short so far and am hoping the elastic holds up well.

    High Quality
These are definitely hight quality work-out shorts. The attention to detail like the stitching which offers plenty of support which comes in handy as I wear these in under my shorts during workouts. Compresses to body but not too tight where it’s uncomfortable and doesn’t roll up on you. While these are pricy you get what you pay for, these are made USA with premium materials.
