This little heating pad is really nice—I love the smell of the lavender! It heats evenly in the microwave and is easy to slip into the cover. It has a nice weight to it so that when I put it on the back of my neck, I can lean into it and it gives a little pressure or I can put it on my eyes and it isn’t too heavy when I have a headache.I only removed one star because I feel like the price of $32.99 is a little higher than I would normally pay for a flax seed heating pad for a couple of reasons. 1) The market is saturated with heat pads from large companies down to individual makers at craft shows. 2) flax seed oil goes rancid after awhile and your bag gets stinky when it does. Nothing lasts forever and I’m all about know your worth and don’t let people make you change your prices, but I prefer cherry pits or even corn and I would personally be more likely to pay that price for a different filling.

Wonderful scent and comforting warmth.
This scented heat pad was a gift for my wife and she loves it. 3 minutes in the microwave and it gets nice and warm to soothe aches and pains. Works very well and the size encompasses back, side and neck well. The scent is not to strong but definitely noticeable and relaxing. A great gift option!

Excellent, high quality hot/cold pad!
Excellent quality! This insert is sewn so that it will remain mostly evenly distributed, unlike others I have used where the hulls move from one end to the other causing uneven cold or heat distribution. I have only used it for heat because that is my preference and it worked as described. It doesn’t hold the heat for long, but that is typical of these types of hot pads.The cover is nice and soft, and you can remove and insert the inside with ease. Pay attention to the dimensions—one of the graphics made me think it was 17” x 18” at first glance, but it is 7” x 18”.

WORKS AND SMELLS WONDERFUL
This review is for Bodyotics Store brand (sold by Bodyotics-USA) ComfyCuddle Microwave Heating Pad with Calming Lavender Scent for Cozy Comfort During Menstrual Cycles – Convenient & Machine-Washable, Microwave to Heat and Freeze to Cool. Great size! Comfy, soft cover. I’ve used only for heating but it can be used frozen as an ice pack also. The ONLY bad part is you must remove the insert from the soft exterior cover prior to heating. It’s difficult to place back in once heated (think putting a pillowcase on a pillow – only a lot smaller!). I did try to microwave in the cover with no ill effects visible. No real instructions included with recommended heating time so it’s all up to you on that. I started with one minute; then did one minute more and it was fairly warm, not screaming hot. I started from a room temperature item. Less time to warm up on repeated heating. The fragrance is very pleasant! It may be a little pricey for some budgets however with the only drawback being removing it from it’s exterior cover prior to heating I am happy with this!Thank you for reading my review. Comfortable cover, can be heated or cooled. Nice lavender scent.
Heating pad with flaxseed and lavender, it is sewn so that the seeds remain evenly distributed. There is a nice lavender scent. For microwaving, the main cover has to be removed to prevent any burning. The top cover is very comfortable, but removing and inserting while the pad is hot, is a pain. But other than that it does the job and is a nice size to put over tummy or shoulder and back. I have not tried to freeze it yet, as I have not needed a cold pack, and I prefer the gel filled products for the cold pack but this can also come handy in a pinch.

good heating pad concept with poor design
I thought I was going to love this but it has a trgic flaw. It warns to not heat in the cover but instead to heat the inner portion only then mlre to the cover. But this requires handling it when it is hot and trying to fit the inner portion into the small side opening. Either your hands will be steaming hot or it’ll be too cool to feel hot enough once in the cover. This is too bad because the cover is very soft and nice.

Das Körnerkissen für die Mikrowelle ist genau das, was ich brauche. Schnelle Wärme. Und keine blubbernden Wasserwärmflaschen.Das Wärmekissen ist mit zwei verschiedenen Materialien gefüllt: Flachs und Lavendel sowie Leinsamen. Es ist in mehrere Kammern unterteilt, sodass die Füllung nicht verrutscht. Der Bezug ist abnehmbar und waschbar – was ich sehr positiv finde!Das Kissen ist gut vernäht. Alle Nähte sind sauber.Das Kissen kommt bei 700 Watt für ca. 2 min in die Mikrowelle. Dazu stelle ich eine Tasse Wasser in die Mikrowelle, damit die Körner nicht austrocknen.Eine Erwärmung im Backofen wird nicht empfohlen.Außerdem kann das Kissen auch im Kühlschrank oder Gefrierschrank gekühlt werden.Die abgegebene Wärme ist dann sehr angenehm. Da das Kissen aber nicht allzu dick befüllt ist, hält die Wärme nicht so lange wie ich mir das wünsche. Schade.

Der Bezug ist abnehmbar und waschbar.Optisch und haptisch wirkt das Wärmekissen in rechteckiger Form sehr ansprechend. Passend zur Größe ist auch das hohe Gewicht, das einen angenehmen Druck auf die zu wärmenden Stellen ausübt.Die beiliegende Bedienungsanleitung in Englisch auf der Pappummantellung empfiehlt ausdrücklich, das Kissen nur in der Mikrowelle zu erwärmen. Eine Erwärmung im Backofen wird daher nicht empfohlen. Außerdem kann das Kissen auch im Kühlschrank oder Gefrierschrank gekühlt werden.Auf der Verpackung gibt es an mehreren Stellen einen QR-Code, der einen zur ausführlicheren Anleitung bringt.Beim Aufwärmen in der Mikrowelle ist es wichtig, die sehr präzisen Herstellerangaben genau zu beachten. Der Hersteller erklärt im Detail die genauen Schritte. Zu hohe Wattzahlen, eine zu lange Erwärmungszeit oder ein blockierter Drehteller können dazu führen, dass die Leinsamen und die Hülle verbrennen – und dann ist das Kissen kaum mehr zu gebrauchen. Darum ist es empfehlenswert, sich die in der eigenen Mikrowelle ermittelten Zeiten und Stufen zu notieren.Ein erneutes Aufwärmen sollte erst erfolgen, wenn das Kissen vollständig auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt ist (ca. 2 Stunden). Andernfalls muss die Erwärmungszeit deutlich reduziert werden. Ich empfehle zudem, das Kissen nach der Hälfte der Erwärmungszeit zu schütteln und zu wenden – hier ist jedoch Vorsicht geboten, um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden.Wenn die Erwärmung in der Mikrowelle gelingt, ist das Kissen sehr angenehm auf der Haut. Besonders bei Kindern würde ich jedoch ein dünnes Handtuch dazwischenlegen, um Hautirritationen oder Verbrennungen zu vermeiden.Wer die Hinweise sorgfältig beachtet, erhält mit dem ComfyCuddle Mikrowellen-Heizkissen einen langlebigen und wohltuenden Begleiter. Habe dieses Körner-Kissen im Rahmen des Vine Programms erwerben und testen dürfen. Die Teilnahme am Vine-Programm hat selbstverständlich keinen Einfluß auf die Bewertung.Man bekommt das abgebildete Körnerkissen geliefert. Das Kissen wirkt ordentlich verarbeitet, hat wenig Eigengeruch. Der Stoff fühlt sich angenehm weich an und das Kissen hat eine ideale Größe.Oft hilft Wärme um Verspannungen zu lösen besser als Tabletten und manchmal ist es an kalten Tagen einfach nur angenehm sich damit aufzuwärmen.Das Kissen läßt sich am besten zusammen mit einer Tasse Wasser in der Mikrowelle gemäß Gebrauchsanweisung erhitzen und hält nach dem Anlegen die Wärme für ein Körnerkissen doch recht gut…. natürlich nicht vergleichbar mit einem Heizkissen. Der Bezug ist waschbar….Das Kissen tut gut und lindert Verspannungen auch tatsächlich.Schönes Teil , auch gut als Geschenk geeignet.

Ich habe diesen Artikel kostenlos im Rahmen von Amazon Vine erhalten, aber dies beeinflusst in keinster Weise meine Meinung!Dieses Lavendelduft-Kissen ist gut durchdacht.Man kann es sowohl als Kälte- wie auch als Wärmekissen verwenden.Für Kälteauflage legt man es in den Gefrierschrank, für Wärmeauflage kurz in die Mikrowelle (beides jeweils ohne den Bezug).Der Bezug ist abnehmbar und waschbar, was ich super finde!Der Lavendelduft ist minimal und nicht aufdringlich.Auch die Größe ist super – bei Unterleibsschmerzen kann man es längst am Unterbauch platzieren und es deckt fast den kompletten Bereich ab.Ich bin zufrieden.Von mir: 4 Sterne!
