Fabric Selector & One-Press Steam Control Diamond Coated Ceramic Soleplate Precision Tip SoleMate Pivot Cord Universal Voltage & 1000 Watts of Power
Product Features

Fabric Selector
The fabric selector allows for an effortless switch between fabrics such as synthetics, wool, and cotton. Selecting a fabric will allow the Mini Project Iron to heat to the perfect temperature, maintaining an even heat for each of these fabrics. The Mini also features one-press steam control, making steaming quick and easy.

Diamond Coated Ceramic Soleplate
The diamond coated ceramic soleplate maintains an even heat, perfect for any ironing project. With the smooth finish, the soleplate allows the Mini Project Iron to effortlessly glide over fabrics. The precision tip gets into otherwise hard to reach places, ideal for appliqués, tight spots, and corners.

SoleMate
The dual-purpose SoleMate is included with every Mini Project Iron. The silicone trivet is perfect for travel and storage. The hook and cord tether keep the iron out of the way and neatly kept when not in use. The SoleMate also functions as a safe place to rest the Mini Project Iron during an ironing project, preventing burns and scorching of fabrics.

Pivot Cord & 1000 Watts of Power
The 8 foot long, 180° pivot cord allows for both right and left handed use, all while keeping the cord out of the way. And with 1000 Watts of power, the Mini Project Iron packs all the power of a full-sized iron, heating up fast yet fitting right next to a sewing machine or in a travel bag. The Mini Project Iron also features universal voltage, easily switching between 120v or 240v, perfect for travel.

Proper Usage Tip #1: Hand position
To avoid burn injuries, place your hand on top of the iron, keeping your fingers away from the hot soleplate.

Proper Usage Tip #2: Turn temperature to Setting 1 when resting your iron
Prior to resting your iron, make sure the iron temperature is on setting 1 (low temp). Do not rest your iron with the temperature setting in position 2 (medium temp) or position 3 (high temp).

Proper Usage Tip #3: Use the the “Resting Side” of you Solemate when resting your iron
The dual purpose solemate functions as a safe place to rest your iron and for storage. The “resting side” lets the hot soleplate safely rest every time during ironing and protects fabrics. The “storage side” easily snaps to the soleplate, for easy transportation and storage.

Mom loves it.
My wife is an avid quilter who often attendsWeek long quilting get togethers with other quilters. This small size very functional steam iron perfectly meets the requirements of her craft.

Oliso Craft iron
Perfect size for my small craft area!

Ease of use
How small this is and it heats up very fast. The only thing is sometimes water spews out when your ironing so I just use it as a dry iron and then use the spray bottle for water. Great iron though other than that.
Deborah Schmidt –
Perfect size for a sewing side table!
Great as a side table iron for my quilting seams!

Cute iron but BURNS!!
I like the cute, modern look of this iron. I like that the water fill is easy to access. I do not like that the steam feature is intermittent. I do not like that you have to press both steam buttons at once in order to maybe get a burst of steam. I HATE that the hot water leaks from the fill door because it doesn’t have a seal. It only clicks in place, there is no tight seal. If you tilt the iron even 45 degrees (which is natural when you are ironing), you burn the palm of your hand with the hot water leaking from the unit. For these reasons, especially the multiple burns I’ve gotten, I’ve retired this iron. I’ve already purchased a backup from a different manufacturer for my every day use. I would not recommend this iron and I won’t even give this away because I don’t want someone else to experience the hot water burns.

Just what I wanted
It gets hot and steam works. Easy to hold. I’m very happy with the iron. Please note that even with plate it gets hot so I also use a trivet.
KHMJ –
Grip area is too small to hold safely.
Sole plate is a great shape for quilting but the grip area is too small to get a safe handle on the iron. Needs to be indented more so my fingers can wrap around more to hold it safely and control it better. I had to return it.
GordM –
It is perfect for quilters and hobbyists who need a powerful, yet small iron for delicate work. It is light and very easy to use.
DTM –
I purchased this iron as it was effectively lighter than my regular iron. My arthritic hands I’d not like my old iron. This lighter smaller iron slows me to iron what needs to be ironed with out pain. My hand fits nicely over the iron. No upper handle that I have to grip tightly. I am loving this iron I even used it for a sewing project it worked very well.

Heats up quickly. Can control amount of steam by pressing one or both side bottoms.Compact which makes it great for use when sewing.Works very well.Only “negative” is the water well is small ( but given the size of the iron, this is unavoidable. )
Bev Brander –
Love this little iron for quilting!! Works great.
Happy Canadian –
Doesn’t hear up hot enough to properly press seams for quilting. However, it’s light, ergonomic, good for small blocks and squares, travels well. Aside from small squares of fabric you’re better off with a regular iron. Impossibly cute though. 🙂
