Very effective for pain relief!
I love it! I needed a USB heating pad to use on my hands and/or elbows while resting in my recliner that has two USB ports. The electrical outlets near my chair are all in use so I needed to find something else. This pad is so soft and just the right size for my lap or to wrap around my hand or elbow.I didn’t read the directions on how to turn it on and couldn’t figure it out. You have to hold the button down until it turns on and is red which is high heat. Push it one more time for blue that is medium heat and again for green for low heat. When finished using, hold the switch down until it goes off. It can get very hot, so be careful. There is an automatic cut off thankfully.I loved it so much that I bought a second one in a different color!

Heater burns through fabric
Zero stars. Never worked and Amazon won’t refund or replace. The manufacturer says Amazon must handle even though they have a one year warranty they won’t replace after 30 days. The product burned through the fabric and only heated a very small part of the heating pad. Highly recommend buying something else and maybe buy direct so they honor the warranty. Many other reviews show the heat burning through as well so I should have researched better before buying but have usually been able to trust Amazon.

Really works
I was skeptical as my 12v blanket gets only lukewarm and take 60 watts. Didn’t expect to get any heat out of this 10watt blanket. On highest setting it gets really hot(not just warm).1. Has usb-c port which is a plus as more and more cables have that connector.2. temperature control3. small size is a plus for me.Things to note1. not the whole area of the pad gets warm, but the part that heats should provide ample heating for most people2. It auto-turns off after 45 minutes with no way of disabling. A minus for me.3. on my pad red is the hottest, green is medium, blue is the coldest. So reversed from what is mentioned in the manual4. manual mentions hottest at 140F. But I’ve measured 122 at the max. Still very hot. Medium is at 100F. Low is 100F5. Wattage draw is 10W on the highest, 7 for medium, 5 at the low.

It works, but perhaps not quite as well as people imagine it will.
It definitely gets warm and about as warm as promised. It only stays on for 45 minutes or so on any setting. The “red” setting is probably the only one that has much value. The heating element is centered in the pad and is fairly small relative to the size of the whole pad.One thing to be aware of is the turn on sequence might be a little confusing at first:* Plug in to USB power and the power LED/button flashes red-blue-green-off. The pad is now powered, but off.* Press and hold the power LED/button for ~ 2 seconds and the LED should light up red indicating maximum output. The pad will get warm, not hot, but a little warm. It is only really effective if used with a layer of insulation like skin<-heater->blanket-air. If you don’t insulate it, most of the heat radiates away.* To choose a different heat output, use a momentary press on the illuminated power button: red->blue->green (warm, not very, hardly).* To turn off, press and hold the illuminated button for ~2 sec.* The unit will turn itself off in about 45 minutes and has to be turned back on.

surprisingly warm for a 5v heating pad
This turned out to be a lot warmer than I expected, given some previous reviews. It is obviously not as warm as one that you plug into a wall outlet, but I expected that before I bought it. It actually is quite a bit warmer than a couple of 12v car blankets that I’ve tried. However, it does occasionally turn off by itself, even when my portable usb power supply has plenty of charge left. That may or may not be the power supply itself turning off (maybe it’s not rated for the current that this pad draws, as it is an older power supply). Easily remedied by unplugging it, waiting a minute or so, and then plugging it back in. Overall a great little heating pad.

Disappointed
The USB-C cord it came with didn’t work. I had another and it lit up and got warm, barely. Highest heat no more than if I had a blanket on me. Very disappointing.

The first was defective. The replacement works well.
I don’t like the button that controls the heat settings, Seems that I have to press It just right, to engage it. But otherwise this is a great product. The pad is small and just right for my needs. I like putting it on my ankles when I’m watching TV. The heat spreads well over the pad, and the settings of H, M and L work well for differences in degrees of heat that each setting offers. It charges easily and seems to hold a charge long enough for me to watch a movie or read a book, while I’m using it. It could be a little bit bigger, but was exactly as advertised and described. I would buy one again.

usb travel heating pad
The only reason I even gave this a 2 star is for the convince of having this to travel with, the size and the usb charging. It does not even warm up on the highest setting, and it only stays turned on for a maybe 5-7 mins before it shuts itself off. Would not buy

I had a heating pad that my husband used to plug into his car but I don’t have it anymore so I thought this would be a great replacement for long car trips. I use it for my sciatic pain. This car heating pad that Amazon sells barely gets warm. I’ll have to look for one that actually works. Don’t waste your money….forget about this one.
