FABULOUS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This model is an update to the one I purchased in 2014 with new improved features and design. I appreciate the sleek look, easy to use clock and alarm settings and many, many installed sounds with simple adjustable volume control. The backlighting feature is also revamped with more settings. I use this machine by my bedside to muffle street sounds and noisy neighbors while living in a multi-family apartment building with inadequate insulation. I highly recommend Sound Oasis for price and quality. I would be lost without it.

Great sound choices! I love the fact that it has a clock and alarm. You can choose 30, 60, 90 minutes, Orr timer off for all night sound. A real plus!It does not have an off switch. You have to choose 30 minutes then it switches off automatically.

It has similar sounds as the more portable system. Anything to lower the tinnitus I can’t get used to yet.

I bought this to help me achieve deeper sleep. However, it does not come with deep sleep sounds; you have to visit their website and pay an additional $30 for the sounds, and you do not know what sounds they will send. I sent it back because of misleading information, and I do not want to put any more money into something I do not trust.

There are numerous sounds to choose and the clock/sleep sounds works great! Also, I had a question and e-mailed the sellers of the product, Sound Oasis, and they emailed me back the next day. I didn’t except to get a reply and certainly not that fast. Plus, you can put sounds you want and customize the sounds.

Didn’t work properly
This is a very nice unit that has a sound machine and an alarm. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work properly. I turned the timer off, meaning that I wanted to hear the sound I chose throughout the night and until I woke. It kept going off at 60 mins. I checked, reread the instructions several times, followed them, and it still wouldn’t stay on. If my sound machine stops during the night because I slide the selection to an hour instead of continuous, I wake up immediately. Another design issue is the inability to set the choice of the alarm sound, different than the sound machine sound. Instead it just increases in volume, which isn’t enough to wake me up. In theory, this could be a great machine, but there are definitely some issues.

What a pleasure to wake up to.
The backlight setting is perfect (I like the backlight off!). The chime that it makes to wake one up is very pleasing and comes on very low and gets louder the longer it is left on, perfect. The sounds are also very nice and being able to set a timer for the sounds to go off is great. You can also just reach over and hit the snooze button to turn it off. No more jolting awake! So awesome that we bought a second one for the wife’s side. We highly suggest this alarm clock.

I really like the quality of the sounds. However, I misunderstood its functions. I thought I would be able to buy a blank sound card and make my own sounds for this machine. Turns out, you can only buy sound cards from this company with their sounds for it to work in this machine. Still it does what I want it to do which is mask my tinnitus.

I was really struggling with falling asleep as I simply couldn’t switch my brain off… These sounds are helping me so much to ‘drift away’. The sound is crisp and clear and so real. I actually enjoy going to bed now every night 🙂 This little thing is not only good for falling asleep but if you are into relaxation and meditation or simply like listening to the mother of nature during the day, then you won’t be disappointed. It is on the pricey side but frankly I tried listening to something similar using other sound sources but this gives much nicer experience. The alarm clock chime is also very sensible and pleasant to listen to as the volume increases gradually. You get what you pay for. Happy listening 🙂

This is very disappointing as the previous model had finally given up and i struggled to find a replacement in the uk. Having received the unit all seemed well but almost immediately it developed a nasty flaw of unexpectedly turning off even though i had followed the instructions fully to ensure the timer function was off. Not sure if this is an isolated problem or more systemic . It is quite pricey and i am reluctant to buy another just in case

Most of the sounds are variations of white noise. I can only find 2 tracks that are somewhat musical but I find them a bit harsh and tinny sounding. Also the micro cable connection does not stay put very well, it falls out easily.
