Not effective
This works better as a reflex hammer than a massager. The entire middle bends like crazy. There is no way to apply any type of pressure to massage any points. You can slap yourself with it but even that doesn’t apply much pressure to the points you are trying to hit. I ended up with a tired arm and no improvement in the areas I was trying to reduce tension in. My kids had a blast with it, banging their knees to watch their legs jump though.. so I guess it wasn’t a complete waste of time.
Duck –
Gives a very soft and gentle percussion. Hard to give it a hard hit
Interesting. A lot more gentle than I expected. At first glance, this device looks very aggressive, like it will deliver very hard percussion blows. But after using it, it is a lot softer than I expected. Part of this is due to the soft padded head of the hammer. The hammer side is a bit like a balloon, with it being so soft. Another reason is that the handle is very flexible. Even if you tried to deliver a hard blow, it is difficult to do so since the long soft handle will dampen your swing. I suppose this make the device more safe to use, but I think I would have preferred something that gives it a harder hit.
