Rain kept on without a break
Turned it on while picking up a few things before bed. The sound holds steady with a soft hum, and the volume clicks in small steps so it doesn’t jump too high. Buttons press firm, easy enough to handle without looking. The dim light setting gives a soft glow, though the higher ones feel a bit sharp. Strap has some weight, hangs solid off the bedpost. Battery ran through the night and still showed charge in the morning. Swapped over to the brook track once, no lag and clear enough.

MeditationThere isn’t a single bad track on this sound machine, as even the birds and train are low-key and not shrill or jarring. The Schubert is really lovely and the Brown Noises, Thunder Rain, and Mighty Sea Wave are perfect for sleeping.I love that there are dedicated buttons for volume up/down and next/last track, unlike other sound machines that just have one button that you quick press for volume, long press for track. I also love that all the buttons are around the side of the device so it can be turned on/off and adjusted without blocking the speaker. The volume has a great range of very, very quiet up to very loud, and the sound quality remains great at every volume level – even at high volume while playing a music track, the sound is clear and not distorted. The night light functionality is extremely good, as there are lots of colors to choose from and the brightness level is easy to adjust.The bottom of the machine has a silicone non-skid ring that keeps it from moving around on smooth surfaces, and it comes with both a leather-like strap and a plastic ring for attaching to a car seat handle or crib side. The only slight negative is that is doesn’t have a wrist strap for hands-free carrying while holding a baby, but that’s easy to rig up on my own. Everything else about it is fantastic. 5 stars!

Great selection of sounds and easy to use
I really like this iMosleep Sound Machine. Not only does it have the usual nature sounds and white noises, but it also has music. When I turned it on, I was a bit disappointed to hear the first sounds were all static and fan motor sounds, but then lovely music came on. It was a bit ethereal and was followed by some lovely piano pieces. It even has a heartbeat which would be good for babies. I especially like how the volume adjusts in such small increments. I’ve had sound machines that go from not quite loud enough to a bit too loud with no in-between. This one adjusts from barely able to hear it to fills the room with increments that almost seem like you can’t tell the difference. As I put this near the head of my bed, I like being able to adjust the volume to exactly what I want. The colors are a nice touch and being able to adjust the brightness or turn them off makes it good for night time. The controls are easy to use, and everything about it is adjustable. I especially like that the charge lasts a long time, I’ve run it overnight and for 8 to 10 hours without it running down. I haven’t tested exactly how long it lasts, but that’s plenty for my needs.I thought I’d miss having Bluetooth on it, but it turns out I can use it as background noise and can still listen to my audiobooks on Bluetooth, so that is good. I also love having the music for background noise as I read books. I don’t like silence and these melodies are nice to have without distracting from what I’m doing. Oh, and I wasn’t sure about the hanging ring it came with, but it is very useful for hanging the sound machine wherever is convenient. I have it hanging from a hook on the wall by my bed, but it can be attached to a backpack or wherever is convenient.

Good sound and color choices to choose from
Overall I think this is a pretty decent sound machine with a lot of different sound choices and pretty lights. You can scroll through all the different lights and see which one you like. Same with the sounds, you can scroll through the sounds and see which one you like. I normally like water tracks just for relaxing but I did find them too repetitive. It didn’t change enough for me to be relaxing. I usually listen to white noise at night as does my child so this could work for either of us. The night light part would definitely work for her because she always sleeps with a night light. I like the leather strap and think it’s pretty cool. I also like that if you put it on a desk it’s non-slip. It is rechargeable with a USB c and overall it works pretty good so that makes it pretty portable and it feels pretty heavyweight.

white noise and relaxing music
I ordered this white noise machine mainly to be a nightlight, but I’m also pleased with the numerous amount of different sounds and songs it holds. It is very easy to use. So easy, in fact, I didn’t need to refer to the directions at all to use it. The controls are very intuitive and easy to see. The instructions might be handy if you want to know what number of song you’d like to scroll to. This charges via usb-c so fits most charging cables. I like that it can easily hang from any doorknob and locks into place. It’s pretty heavy for its size. There are so many different sounds, I don’t need to list them all, but it has some that are surprising to me, like a couple of classical songs, and the sound of a train. I like the numerous colors of led lights to choose from, as well.
