Baby kitten heaven!
The kittens love it! It heats up super fast (I only put it in for 2 1/2 minutes to make it warm, not scolding) and stays that way for at least 5-6 hours. I’m sure if would be more if I didn’t barely warm it up. Mom doesn’t sleep with them much. She feeds and leaves so I wanted to get something to warm them. The pic is the first nap time and the ones who found the buried disk don’t seem to need to pile on each other as much for warmth and fall asleep easily and first. I made a depression to place the rather large disk so the bed is still flush, they didn’t like having to climb. Since then they all seem to gather around the disk and there has been much less screaming while getting comfortable. I’m super happy with it I just wish it had cuter cover options. Oh and this thing is a beast! It a thick boi and doesn’t feel like it would break easily which is great but that also means it’s hard. Just put some fluffy blankets over it and you’ll be fine. The heat comes through no problem. I’m probably buying another when they get a bit bigger. Definitely worth the price!

Perfect for kittens
I used this for my first time fostering a kitten and I am so glad that I had it. The heat lasts 10 hours so I would heat it in the morning and then right before bed. It comes with a cover but I still put it under a thin towel. The kitten loved it. She was always laying on and around it.

Perfect for older pets
I bought one of these years ago and recently started to use it again with my little crabby girl. She’s 19 and a cat so you really can’t blame her. She definitely appreciates a warm bed to rest her weary bones. It stays hot for at least 12 hours. Great product and they last forever. My original one works just as well as the new one. Buy it!

A godsend for kitten care!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Someone dumped a newborn kitten on my doorstep, and using a heating pad wasn’t practical due to wiring issues. I saw this recommended in multiple places, including by the Kitten Lady, who is an expert on neonatal kitten care. I had this overnighted, and it was a godsend since we were using hot water bottles and rice socks and having to reheat them every two hours, along with feeding him. It stayed lovely and warm, and he happily snuggled on top of it. I love that it’s reasonably priced since it was an unexpected expense, which is sometimes not the case with quality or specialty pet items. We managed to find him a foster, and we’re keeping this for future heating needs since we have older cats as well.

Easy to use, stays warm for hours in an enclosed area.
I have three of these now. One for my dog’s bed while we’re at work. Gives him a warm place to lay on and it’s still warm nine hours later. A second I have to keep things in my car from freezing. This one gets cold a lot faster as it’s not in an insulated container so heat is sucked away. The third I bought to place under my chicken’s water container. It will be on a wooden stand with insulation on the sides and bottom to the heat can only go up into the container. It should be enough to keep the water from freezing during the day while we’re at work. When below freezing the container will be brought in, and filled with warm water in the morning when I put it out. It takes a long time to freeze a few gallons of water and this should be enough to make sure it doesn’t happen. Especially the outer rim where its shallow and where the birds drink from. That’s my hope anyway, I’ll see when it gets below freezing.The instructions have a discrepancy though. The times on the sticker and in the instruction sheet are different than the time on the chart on the packaging. It’s only for one wattage of microwaves. I go by the shorter time on the sheet and sticker and it seems to be fine.

A must have if you’ve got kittens
These are I valuable for the kittens we are raising. So glad we came across these in an online article. If you have kittens these help keep them warm. Tuck them in under their bedding, and they can choose to snuggle up next to them or if they get too hot, they can choose to move to the other side of the box. They stay warm for a very long time inside the box. Have another one that I put under some blankets on Tile and those cool off much faster on the tile. Would recommend

My puppy loves when we take this out the microwave as she knows it’s time to snuggle up in bed. As soon as we place it in her bed she will immediately curl up on it and we know it keeps her warm throughout the night as it is still warm to the touch in the morning. The only downside is that my puppy has easily managed to take the Velcro off the cover and chew the lining on the inside so definitely need to keep a close eye during the day.
