I bought 6 of these little sound machines, because I have a sensory-seeking husband, who barrels his way through life, crashing into walls, launching himself onto furniture, talking too loudly on his gaming mic, stomping around to use the loo in the middle of the night, and when he’s not actively making a ruckus, he snores like a chainsaw. We don’t even sleep in the same bedroom, but his movements can be felt throughout the household…It was setting off my hypervigilance hourly, until I received these little wonders. Now, I have zones of zen in my room.The one in the attached bathroom plays the Buddha bell, which feels very spa-like.I have chimes (with rain) playing as I enter my room, mountain sounds on the left of the tv, a babbling brook to the right.Underneath my bed, waves crash on the right, and frogs vocalize on the left. I have another generic sound box that plays bird chatter, but the looping is so very obvious, it can be distracting.Most of the 54 sound options do not have detectable loops, thankfully. They don’t go any quieter than level 4 in the app, and they don’t offer a dark mode option on this very bright, very white app, which is less than optimal for an app most will need to access at night. If they added a dark or night mode, I would be ecstatic, but otherwise, these are saving my sanity, and my marriage.One other caveat- I thought these would be perfect to plug into the USB ports of some 6-outlet expander devices we got at Costco, but apparently there is some discrepancy between the output of the outlet device and the power requirements, as they would shut off randomly.Later, I read the tiny manual and it warned that if the sound machines were not plugged into their specific power block, they would behave unpredictably, so I bit the bullet, and used the unsightly power blocks. Haven’t had any issues since.We recently had a power outage, which gave me concerns that I’d have to go through the steps to re-connect each of my 6 devices to the app, but once power was restored, I was surprised to find that I just need to power them on from the app, since the bluetooth connection was preserved.One small downside- there is a gritty intro melody that plays upon powering up, and it is unnecessarily loud, sounds like a recording of a recording, and is very disarming if you don’t expect it. Having 6 of these, I have come to expect it and brace myself for the onslaught, but just be warned that it will happen and there is no way to mute it.The lights are a bonus, and I really only use 2 of them, for the ones under my bed. I leave them on red, at the lowest brightness they will allow, and it keeps me from stumbling around in darkness, while preserving my night vision.When I first bought them, I was optimistic that I would be able to load multiple devices into the app, and it worked really well. That said, if I’m changing up the sound profiles, sometimes they disconnect from the app if I’m moving too quickly. When I slow down and take my time, it is less likely to happen, and I can easily enable holiday sleighbells, a variety of rain options, quite a few animal noises, as well as some noise-masking options.They sound better than I expected them to sound, which is a bonus, and the wide variety of options mean I can customize my zones however I need to when the neighbors’ dogs start barking, or leaf blowers are in full force in the neighborhood.They had a half-off discount when I got them around Cyber Monday, so they can be very reasonably priced, if you can wait for a sale. Great for home use
Great for home use. Needs to be plugged in, so not as portable as I would like. Also, it is advertised as having Green Noise, but it does not. Not a big deal for most, but it is my favorite to sleep to, and that is why it was purchased

In few words here is pros and cons:Pros:Good sound qualityGood light, and light color shade intensity selectionEasy to operate device buttonsNice looking deviceCons:Not battery operatedMost of sounds and better selection are via bluetoothIt needs to be plugged to work and plug is in front of speaker.Overall good bedside speaker and white noise sound machine. Best controls are through Bluetooth and your phone, altho descent selection is on sound machine itself. It works when is plugged and pug is in worst possible location. I give it 4 star because of quality of sound and what it does. If you want multipurpose battery less sound player / speaker this may be good device for you.
