Wonderful gift for teens and adults
There’s something comforting and cozy about having this adorable little sloth sprawled on your lap. It was an instant hit in my household. One person described it as similar to having a cat or puppy on your lap, but without any claws digging into your skin. It’s calming, and kind of makes you want to go to sleep.One huge caveat: this seems to be marketed as something for young children. Please note that it weighs 5 pounds. Most pediatricians do not recommend a weighted toy, blanket, or pad for children under the age of two years, as it can be a safety and/or smothering risk, and anything that weighs 5 pounds or more may not be suitable for ages under 12 years. Please consult your pediatrician before purchasing for a young child.Caveat aside, this is a wonderful comfort item and would make a fantastic gift for any teen or adult who has ADD or anxiety, or is on the spectrum, or is stressed out or under the weather, or just simply needs a hug.

Good and fluffy weighted companion
This is a decent weighted “blanket” and is very soft. I do wish that the upper part of the animal is also weighted vs. only the bottom part. Good for both kids and adults to snuggle with.

Very Car Friendly Item
This item is an animal themed weighted lap blanket that is a big hit in our household. It’s great for comforting overstimulated child that enjoys big hugs and it’s perfect for long car rides. can be used on lap or as pillow and is easy to clean and maintain. It has a zipper to open and remove the insert so that the animal cover can be washed. I recommend washing in a delicate bag to help maintain the life of the item. When removing or inserting the heavy part there are ties within the sloth to attach them together. It’s straight forward and easy to use. I removed one star because it bunches up a lot which can be a little frustrating for the younger children to fix on their own but overall this is a great quality product and a perfect size.
