Benefits of VIM & VIGR Compression Socks
Air Travel
Studies have shown that airline passengers who wear compression socks during flights can reduce their risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) as well as leg swelling.
Sitting or Standing for Long Hours
Sitting for 90+ minutes may cause blood flow below the knees to decrease by 50%, reducing the amount of freshly oxygenated blood to your legs and increasing your risk of blood clots.
Exercise
Using compression socks after working out increases the tissue oxygen recovery rate and has been shown to reduce muscle soreness by 28%.
Pregnancy
Pregnancy increases blood volume and pressure, which can inhibit blood flow and lead to swelling, fatigue, and varicose veins.

Customers say
Customers find these compression socks effective and well-constructed, with medium-thickness material that feels better than cheaper brands. The fit and comfort receive mixed feedback – while some find them a good fit and comfortable, others report they’re too tight and uncomfortable. Customers disagree on the ease of putting them on, durability, and value for money, with some finding them well worth the price while others consider them pricey.

Great compression & quality!
I’m very happy I decided to drop the money to buy a pair of these to try out. I was very hesitant at first. 1000% works amazing and worth it when you realize you end up spending more on tons of others that dont work well and having to change your sock multiple times a day to a different one because the compression is gone. I first bought a size 1, then for my second pair bought a size 2 (female with shoe size 8). The size 2 was perfect for me. But i still use the size 1 cause i won’t return a used sock lol. The material feels amazing and I’m not all itchy and can wear one the entire day without having to worry about losing compression. My favorite pair are the blue/white pin stripes in size 2, i think thats the color listed, also have the red/black ones in size 1. The material on the blue/white pin stripe ones are perfect! The black/red ones are more stretchy material. I just started wearing compression socks maybe 6 months ago and its because I now work from home for almost 3 years and pains started a year ago in only my left leg. I have bought sooo many different brands and I’ve only found 2 that keep the compression longer and so far the Vim&Vigr is #1. I put the sock on soon as i wake up and take it off when i go to bed. If i dont have compression after sitting at my desk all day I get shooting pains down my inner thigh to inner calf on my left leg along with swelling on lower leg. Painful enough where I’m scared to put pressure down on that leg. I’m ok though had doplars and all the scans done a couple months ago and no clots etc. right now thankfully. Was told to wear 20-30mmhg and then had to go up. So compression and keeping that compression is VERY important, especially for others who may be worse off. Who knew a compression sock can stop the pain instantly, thats crazy but true. Ill for sure update this post after a few months to let you all know how they are holding up as well, but its to be expected material will wear out eventually. My hats off to you Vim&Vigr you have gained a life long customer from me.

Great for venous insufficiency
These came in a timely manner and fit well. The thickness is medium-not too thin and not too thick. They are comfortable and I feel I am getting the support that I need. Great price for quality. I will get more in the future.

WORTH IT!
After surgery and weeks of inactivity, it was suggested that instead of a brace, I could use compression socks for ankle support. First, I opted to buy a much less expensive pair (PAIR! I received 8 pairs for much less than I paid for one pair VIM & VIGR!). but they didn’t do much for me. Thus began my search for the “just-right” pair of compression socks. I read about VIM & VIG on a “Best of” site. Then a friend recommended them.I knew I had chosen well right away. I really struggled to get them on correctly. They were extremely resistant when I tried to stretch them over my calves. However, once on and well placed — heel exactly where it ought to be — they hugged my legs just right. Only after my legs were comfortably ensconced in these wonderful socks did I notice the instructions for use on the packaging. Isn’t that the way it always is? I never read, let alone see, the directions to getting something done correctly until after I’ve unnecessarily struggled with it. While I don’t necessarily need directions to help me put on a pair of socks, when I followed those provided, it was certainly easier! These are great. Well worth the price. Highly recommended for recovery from surgery. I could feel renewed circulation in my legs and if I’ll definitely wear them on my next flight.

Too tight at the top, too long
I wear a size 7.5 shoe, got the small/medium, they were too long, too much extra material. I have to wear medical grade compression hose everyday due to veinous insufficiency this was cutting off my circulation at the top of my calf. They hurt so bad after just a few hours of wear. Do not buy!

Work great
I have circulation issues and they help a lot. They have different compression zones, so much better than basic compression socks.

good sock, but needs more room in calf
Like the pattern, but the calf could be a little more roomy

Material feels better than cheaper brands. Cute patterns.
I was on my feet as a hair dresser for 32 years and now work on a construction site as a security guard. I used to stand a lot, now I sit a lot! I have large red splotch spider veins and was told by my doc that I need to start wearing compression socks. Tried one pair that is on the cheaper side (not this brand, size S/M), I was surprised they went on so easily since my calf measurement is 16 and according to other size guides should be in a M/L. It wasn’t the most comfortable material and seemed stifling somehow. I decided to try Vim & Vigr and should have bought size 2 but they were out. I REALLY liked the sock pattern though, so I got a size 3 for a 12-15 shoe size (I’m 8 1/2). The sock material instantly felt so much better than the original pair I had! It felt like my leg could breathe. Yes, the toes were too long… but because I like the pattern so much, I just cut the toes off. Probably a stupid and costly mistake but I do love the socks… I just have to wear another pair with them now, and that’s okay. I just ordered a few other styles in the 2 size so we’ll see how those fit. As a new compression sock user I do just have to say… it SUCKS to spend so much money for a better quality compression sock but I can tell you that my legs felt a difference in the comfort level of the material so it’s worth it. Just bite the bullet and get Vim & Vigr! I just wish they kept all sock sizes in stock.

Loved the first pair. Second pair is too tight.
I love my first pair of Vim&Vigr M/L 20-30 mmHg socks. They are soft, effective, and reasonably easy to get on/off. I ordered a second pair with the same specs a week later, and found them to be courser, much too tight, and more difficult to get on/off. The two pairs appear to have the same dimensions, though I suspect the second pair was mislabeled as 20-30 mmHg when its pressure rating is actually 30-40 mmHg. Not planning to buy another expensive pair because I’m not confident that I’ll get what I ordered.

Me gustó mucho el material y la compresión. Mi esposo las considera de excelente calidad, pues solo habíamos usado las JOBST

Love the pressure and the material very elastic just loving it. Saw this in ladyspine doc tik tok video then go straight to amazon and bought this. This is better than the one i bought before. Keep wearing this compression socks alternate with the love shape design. Very comfortable. Not too tight or too lose. The top part grip my calf strongly but not too tight until hurting my popliteal.Disclaimer-ICU nurse working 12 hour shift

The compression stocking is labeled a large size with an extra-large calf, but the calf is actually too tight, whereas the remaining sock feel just fine and offers a compression fit just like my medical compression stocking. I am an XL, but I would like to try an XXL if it exists.
