FINALLY a heating pad with actual HEAT!
Oh my god, bruh. I have been searching for a heating pad that actually delivers some deep pain relief to the 5 slipped discs & osteoarthritis in my back + chronic pain elsewhere (I also have ehlers danlos, fibro, and more.) and helps out with those crippling cramps during that worst part of the month.All the heating pads I get always feel like they have two settings. 1 being the “did I actually turn it on?” setting where practically no heat is delivered and 2 being “I should have just duct taped my pomeranian to my back coz he provides more heat than this heating pad” setting.BUT THEN I FOUND THIS HEATING PAD AND I AM BLOWN AWAY BECAUSE I ACTUALLY HAVE PAIN RELIEF. And, yes, yelling that was absolutely necessary. I’m shook by this pad fr fr.This heating pad has heat from the depths of satan’s lair in 9 different settings & you can distinctly feel the difference in each level. It’s like 9 different layers of wonderful, penetrating hellfire delivered directly to the spots that hurt the most.The cord is long enough that I can jump out of bed to grab my dog when we have a “what are you eating!?” moment and not have to unlatch myself. The pad stays in place on me snugly and isn’t itchy or uncomfy like I thought it would be; it’s actually very comfortable, kinda like a hug with a person who has suspiciously skinny arms. And the pad itself is velvety and smooth, like what I imagine it is like to lay in a rich person’s bed. I’m a broke b*tch, so I’ll never know what that feels like, but this pad is a great simulation for it. It also has timers for turning off, along with an “on” switch if you don’t want it to turn off until you choose to turn it off manually, which is so useful.I mean. Just wow. Fam, if you’re looking for the heating pad that FINALLY reaches those pain spots, this is the one! I can’t even describe how nice it has been to finally find a heating pad that reaches those visceral pain spots. I overheat/get hot really easily so I am only using it on level 5, 6, and occasionally 7 (at the VERY highest, but usually 6) so I can’t imagine what level 9 would be like but I know someone out there probably has pain at the level that needs that paired with a body that can handle that level of being cooked alive.But srsly. If you are serious about having the equivalent of the heat of the sun harvested & directed into your worst pain areas & feeling that instant relief, this is the heating pad for you. If you want the normal mediocre heating pad that everyone else offers, you might as well just go to the grocery store, buy a frozen dinner & heat it up in the microwave to where the middle is still frozen and tape that to your back; it’ll have the same effect as those heating pads.(Also, no, I’m not being coerced into saying any of this. I just really enjoy having my pain taken care of for once & wanted to help any other chronic pain sufferers out there make a good financial decision.)

Great quality for purchase
My husband hurt his back at work and kept saying a heating pad might help so I found this one. I love that it has the strap to buckle and secure it around you. The temperature control is very easy to use and the timer function is great. It is relaxing and seems pretty durable although I think it did get folded up and wrinkled and doesn’t seem to want to straighten itself out but still works great!

Good size and design
This heating pad works great. Its large enough to cover a large part of the back and the Velcro straps holds it in place. I set it on level 5 and leave it there so when I want to use it, I just press the power button and its ready to go. You can set the time and heat levels easily. I just leave it on 3 hours and shut it off when I’m done.

Stopped working after 1 & 1/2 months
Re: issueI complained to Comfy manufacturers website & they offered replacement or refund. I needed a heating pad desperately so bought a Sunbeam brand for same price. It was ok but not near the quality of Comfy. Much smaller, only 4 heat settings & notas warm, plus the Velcro strap broke first day.I had Comfy send another which unfortunately was stolen off porch but re-ordered & received overnight plus they refunded my cost. They promptly kept in touch with me & customer service excellent.I think possible reason it stopped working is that cord with controller very long (good) & I had it drop from chair to hard wood floor several times so maybe my fault it stopped working.All in all the best custom back heating pad you can get & price is very good.Bought on Feb 13, stopped workin g in use on March 31! A great product but Amazon says warranty expired on March 15! One month of use & not able to return. What the hell, Amazon? Temped to buy again but notiv=ced price dropped by $10…because all are defective? What a shame

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Over the past several years, I have worn out one heated back pad and two others that were just like it either stopped heating after two weeks or didn’t get hot at all. I chose this one because it covered more of my back than the others and had the feature of a timer that would shut it off automatically. I have been thrilled with this back pad. First, the belt is adjustable to fit a wide range of waists. Second, it offers a variety of temperatures. Third (and most important to me), I can set the timer to 30 minutes or longer for the pad to turn off automatically in case I accidentally fall asleep. I’ve been using it for months and am still pleased with it.

Scalding Hot!!! UNSAFE
Wanted to love this heating pad. Loved the fact that it snaps around the waist and had up to 9 hours of heating before it auto shuts off. However…..it got so hot on the lowest setting it was unbearable. I had jeans and a sweatshirt under it and it was still burning hot. I even put a towel between the heating pad and my sweatshirt, still scalding. I only tried using this once. It’s not safe. I don’t even want to know how hot the highest setting would’ve been. Sent this back and moving on to a different brand. Be careful with this thing!

gets too hot now – on 2nd use.
This was great the first night. I tried to use it again this evening and it got so hot on the lowest setting that I had to keep turning it on and off. I wouldn’t have tried to use it again tonight except that I had so much pain in my back. I am happy with the fit, everything – except I don’t understand why it gets so hot now. It gets burning hot. I finally just had to turn it off and return to my small heating pad. I am disappointed. I loved it the first night.
