This is a cute little heat pad. I haven’t tried putting it in the freezer; although the product listing says you can use it hot or cold the included instructions only mention putting it in the microwave and using it hot. You don’t actually microwave the whole bread man, he has velcro on his butt and you pull out a little bean bag, allegedly filled with terracotta beans, and microwave that for 60-90 seconds depending on the wattage of your microwave. I wasn’t sure of mine so I only heated it for 60 seconds to be safe. It wasn’t too hot to the touch when I pulled it out, but I wouldn’t want to hold it for a long time with my bare skin because it was a little ouchie. I put the beanbag back in the bread man’s butt, velcroed him back up, and strapped him to my shoulder, which had been aching for several hours when he turned up in the mail. The strap is very convenient so you can move around while using it and not need to manually hold it in place. It wasn’t super hot, but it was warm and I did feel like it helped to relax my shoulder, although I did end up using a TENS unit afterwards because unfortunately, the heat just wasn’t enough for me. But I love this little guy! He’s so grouchy!

He’s a good price for him being not only sizable, washable (not all of this style of heating pad are), has a nice weight to him and is well stitched together with love, but he has clay beads for his heating pad, which is removable so that’s the only thing that’s heated. Gone are the days of wondering if your furry animal will catch fire in the microwave and now you won’t fear if he gets messy. This is the premium stuffed heating pad!!!A+++

Charming Design With Some Practical Flaws
This is a very cute and soft stuffed animal, and the concept of a toast-shaped heating pad is fun. However, when it comes to its function, there are a few issues. The actual heat comes from a removable clay bead packet that is significantly smaller than the plushie itself, only covering about a third of the area in the middle. You have to be careful to flatten out the beads so it doesn’t feel lumpy when using it. I also have concerns about the velcro fastener for the opening, as it snags the cloth of the bead packet, which seems like it could cause wear and tear over time. Lastly, the included strap isn’t very functional, I couldn’t find a useful way to adjust it to hold the plushie in place.Pros:- Adorable and unique design- Plush material is very soft- The bead pack can be heated or frozenCons:- Heated area is much smaller than the plushie- Bead packet can feel lumpy if not adjusted- Velcro closure snags the packet, raising durability concerns- The strap doesn’t seem to be very usefulWhile this is a very charming plush object, its utility as a heating pad is limited by these design flaws. The small heating area and the issues with the velcro closure and strap make it less practical than I had hoped. It works, but it’s more of a cute novelty than a go-to for serious relief.

This bunny is so soft and cute. It has a removable pouch filled with clay beans to microwave. The pouch fits in a Velcro closure pocket under the bunny’s bottom. Bunny’s ears also have some beans, giving them a nice soothing weight. Its hands have little magnets in the paws, so you can match them up and they stay together. I have not tried to microwave the pouch yet, as I hid the bunny away to be used as an Easter gift.BUNNY DOES NOT COME WITH THE CARROT. This was mentioned in the listing, but it was not super clear. The carrot is in all the photos, so this could be confusing to some. Overall, really sweet item. Would make a great gift.

Cute plushie, disappointed in “heating pad” aspect
Ok, so I obtained this because I saw heating pad in the shape of a toast plushie. So I was excited to get it in the mail. When it arrived, I was excited when I took it out of the box. When I opened it up and saw how little of it would be the part that stays warm, I was disappointed. In the last photo, you can see my fingers on either side of the packet in the plushie. It only takes up about 1/3 of the middle of the plushie. If anything, there should be a pocket the length of the plushie that can be filled with the bean packet that provides the heat. Very dissapointed.The Good:-Plushie is as pictured in the store page. Great plushie if you are just wanting a plushie.-Has a removable bean bag that can be put in the microwave for a heating pad, or the freezer for a cooling pad-The bean packet does heat up well and stays warm for a while. I haven’t tried it in the freezer yet.The Bad:-Small area for heating/cooling. The pocket is about 1/3 of the plushie in the middle. The bean packet fits in the pocket, but you have to adjuster it so it isn’t bunched up and uncomfortable.-The opening to put the bean packet is lined with a velcro fastener. When putting the bean packet in and out, the velcro snags on the cloth packet. After repeated use, can wear the packet and ruin it, causing the beans to fall out.-The strap that goes on the plushie is useless? It isn’t really adjustable to be useful and I can’t figure out what it is for.Overall, I like the plushie, but don’t believe that $20 is acceptable for the plushie alone when they advertise this as a heating/cooling pad. Not that I need to say it again, but I was disappointed in this as a heating pad.
