A very worthwile sleeping aid for babies (and all other ages too).
I got this device for my 3 month old gransdon. I’m certain it’ll work as advertised for the baby, so I’m doing this review as an engineer before handing it over to my son.The device itself is easy to operate once you’ve read the instructions, although I thought it a bit awkward to have the volume UP and DOWN buttons on opposite sides of the device vs beside each other. It is charged via a USB-C cable and can obviously be used while charging. There are a number of safety warnings listed, mostly just pertaining to that cord and the choking hazard it presents if in reach of the baby. If being run only on internal power it should all be good. The device itself has no sharp edges etc. and is very baby-friendly if gotten at.This has 5 noise sounds, 8 lullabies (music-only) and 12 natural sounds. Each track has its own length and loops smoothly and continuously without glitches. The track names given in the documentation are pretty self-explanatory with a couple exceptions. The “sloshing sound” is more like the breathing sound made while sleeping – “sloshing” is a curious description of that. The heartbeat track sounds like it was just recorded beside the bubbler in an aquarium and appears to have very little to do with actual heartbeat sounds. If it was meant to sound like being in the womb, then it was right after mother chugged a liter of soda :-/. The fireplace sound was a 6-second loop that had a couple annoyingly loud (to me, not the baby) clicks in it. While the baby is unable to complain, the “nightime summer” track is nothing more than a very short loop of a cricket chirping and the “clock” track is a 1 second loop of a clock tick – both of which would likely have turned me into an axe murderer with prolonged exposure :-/.By and large, I was OK with the minimum volume level of the natural sounds, but the lullabies were too loud at that setting. In fact, all the audio levels need to be shifted more towards the quieter end of the spectrum. You can set timers for 30, 60 and 90 minutes and they work just fine. A nice touch would be to slowly fade out the volume towards the ends but it doesn’t do that.I recall when my daughter was young, when the lights were turned off she always wanted me in the room until she fell asleep. This device can record up to 260 seconds (4 min 20 sec) of e.g. your voice as one of the sounds and maybe you can fake your presence using this feature. Like the rest of the sound effects, that recording will play in a loop so don’t try recording something that slowly fades in volume because it’ll just create a volume jolt when it starts up again.Regarding the light options, the documentation says there are 3 levels of white brightness, 7 other colors, and a mode that pulsates through all colors. One of the 3 white brightness levels is actually pulsating white, and the 7 constantly on colors are all only at the brighter setting. I also felt that the frequency of the pulsating was way too fast and should be slowed down by a lot.I always comment on the eco-friendly packaging and any time there’s unnecessary non-recyclable material used I will bring it up and deduct a half star. This item contains such plastic (see the attached picture) that will very likely end up in a landfill. Now counteracting that, it contains rechargeable Li-ion batteries that mitigate an endless supply of spent batteries destined for the same place. So we’ll call it even, although please don’t use that plastic (just find a way). This is a US company based in Rhode Island, they sell well thought out and designed quality products, have a professional website and real customer support. The only thing that gives me pause about this product is that it’s an electronic device (just like your phone, only WAY less complex) and yet the warranty is just a paltry 90 days. I imagine the product is significantly more reliable than that, and they should show some more confidence in it by changing it to 1 year.

Perfect Little Sound Machine for On-the-Go Parents!
I absolutely love the Dewdrop travel sound machine! It’s so lightweight and compact, perfect for tossing in the diaper bag or clipping to the stroller when we’re out and about. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small device, and I really appreciate the variety of options, white noise, nature sounds, lullabies, even fan noises. There’s something for every mood and every nap.The nightlight feature is such a sweet touch too. I like that you can choose from multiple colors and brightness levels, and the red light option really helps my baby settle down faster at night. One of my favorite parts? You can record your own voice, which is such a thoughtful feature for comforting little ones when you’re not right beside them. The battery lasts a long time, and having the option to run it all night is a huge plus.Whether you’re traveling or just need something portable for naps on the go, this little gadget is a lifesaver for parents. Definitely worth it, and it would make an amazing baby shower gift too!

Love this.
Mom of 3, so I’ve had a few different machines and there are some pros and cons to this one.I’ll start with pros:1. It’s simple to use2. Has a lot of settings, white noise, rain, songs, and record any sound you want!3. It’s portable and rechargeable4. It’s small5. It’s pretty loud6. It starts off quiet and slowly gets louder up to the set volume.7. Has a lightCons:1. The charging cord is a bit short, so for example, I will probably leave it plugged in my sons room for every day use, but I can only keep it on a short table or on the floor directly next to the outlet with the cord provided. So I can either plug/unplug every day to charge, or buy a longer charging cord.2. I wish it was louder.3. Makes a weird ding noise when it reaches max volume.Overall this is maybe my favorite white noise machine I’ve ever had for my kids. I love that it’s portable and could easily go on the car seat with baby or with us on an overnight trip away from the house. I also really love that it has a light. It’s nice to have the option to have a nightlight and white noise machine in the same device.

Portable and Amazing quality for an excellent price
This little sound machine is pretty amazing – especially for the price. The sounds (everything from white noise to nature sounds [rain, wind, surf, jungle] and crowd noise – all sound very good and clear and are easy to toggle through. The addition of a light (which you can choose your favorite color) is also a nice touch. I have a sound machine I purchased about 10 years ago which had these features, and it cost upwards of $100. Technology in this space has come a long way.
