Help me pump more milk, provide relief, large size to cover everything
These have been on my wishlist for some time now so when they came back in stock I ordered them immediately. While establishing milk production in the first few weeks of nursing a newborn, it can be difficult and at times very sore. These soothing therapy pillows are great and really easy to use. I’m not a fan of using these for a cooling effect, but that’s simply because I don’t like cold things touching me. I did try it, however, and it stays cool for a bit while in place. So if you’re looking for cooling relief, these definitely do the job.I prefer to use them for a warming relief and to get my milk flowing. I put them in the microwave for about 2 minutes so they’d get nice and warm, and I have to say, it felt great when I put them in place. On one occasion I had just finished pumping and then used these for about 5-7 minutes. I went back to pumping right after and actually expressed an additional half an ounce. If you’re a nursing mother, you know how valuable even an extra half an ounce can be. I was super excited about this. The warming effect must have opened up some clogged milk ducts or simply helped to get the milk flowing. The pillows are very large, a lot larger than I expected, but it’s a good thing because they are kind of like one size fits all. I’m always around a C/D cup and the pillows do a nice job of completely covering everything, ensuring all or most milk ducts are affected. Since these can’t be washed, to prevent leaking on the pillows I used the Bamboobies nursing pads that came with them, in between the pillow and my breast and didn’t have a problem. When I’m not using the pillows I keep them stored in the plastic bag they were packaged in. I would hate for them to get dirty since they can’t be washed.Overall, I would highly recommend these soothing therapy pillows. They’ve definitely helped me.

Large, very soft, have helped me to resolve clogged ducts multiple times
I almost didn’t buy these because they were so expensive, but if you are looking for top-of-the-line hot/cold packs (I was willing to pay pretty much anything to resolve my clogged ducts ASAP) these are worth it. They are definitively better than others I’ve seen on the market. The material is super soft, and they are extra large to cover more of the breast. I also bought the “Gerber Breast Therapy Warm or Cool Relief 2 Reusable Packs” (also very highly rated), and these are infinitely nicer and softer. I can’t compare to the Earth Mama Booby Tubes as I didn’t buy those, but my guess is that these would retain heat/cold longer since they are a bit thicker. If you are dealing with the pain of engorgement or clogged ducts/mastitis, these are a totally worthwhile purchase!UPDATE 3/16: I recently pulled these out again for use with my second child, as I ran into the same clogged ducts issue again. I felt the telltale signs in the morning, and (as an experienced clogged ducts person) leapt into action (absolutely critical to minimize the damage). I nursed and pumped repeatedly, each time using this as a warm compress (microwaved for 30sec) for a few minutes beforehand to help with letdown, and also took a couple lecithin pills (Kellymom recommends 3 per day). I nursed in several different positions, including on all fours, with my affected boob dangling into baby’s mouth (with her chin pointed toward the center of the hard tissue). I managed to resolve the issue within about 6 hours, which is pretty unheard of for me (before I knew all the action steps to take, these episodes often lasted a very painful 3-4 days). Who knows how much I can attribute to these pads specifically, but I’m pretty sure they played a role. Very happy I still have these!!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G
I initially purchsed these because we were having a lot of trouble nursing, PAIN PAIN PAIN, and they looked pretty cool. No one I knew had ever tried them. The heat helped in the beginning with my let down and soreness, and the cool helped ease the soreness as well. It’s great that they can be used hot & cold. The hot was never too hot and the cold never too cold (see my only negative) Perfect temps both ways. Now that nursing is much easier for me, I still use them both ways because I can!The fabric is awsome. There are two sides- one is a little heavier (I used this side if I put them in the microwave too long…) and the other is super super soft and more thin. Although both sides feel wonderul to the touch, I do prefer the thinner side’s texture more.I also now use them on my daughter’s stomach. She has pretty bad gas and reflux, so the light pressure from the weight combined with the heat, helps ease her pain!!The only negative is that I would have liked them to get a little colder in the freezer. But this is a personal preference I guess. I like things very cold and can tolerate it.Great product all around. I have already reccommended these to some moms-to-be. Worth the price and you can use them again and again.. AND AGAIN!!

A little bulky but very soothing
I’ve really enjoyed having these while nursing. After warming them in the microwave for a minute or so, they provide a soothing hot compress and help stimulate supply. After receiving so many disposible and plastic supplies from the hospital, it’s nice to have something natural and reusable. I think they’ll also be useful long after I’m done breast feeding as a more generic hot compress and even in place of a hot water bottle in bed on a cold evening. The only downside to these is that they are very large. I hadn’t noticed that when I ordered them and thought I could wear them inside my nursing bra. They definitely need to rest on your chest, outside of your clothes. There’s no practical way to tuck them in.

Buy in advance before baby is born! Cold and heat relief for nursing tits
My baby had a severe lip tie when she was born that caused my nips to bleed and have searing pain in them. I was so glad I bought bamboobies beforehand, my husband put them in the freezer for me and they brought me relief. Now her lip tie has been fixed so I’ll be heating these up if needed to help with engorgement.

These heating/cooling pads are of fantastic quality! I love how soft they are (on both sides) and that the flax is natural – I feel comfortable putting this in the microwave or fridge, unlike the plastic alternatives. They’re bigger than you’d expect them to be, in the best way, as they cover more surface area. They also come with free bamboo nursing pads, which is lovely! You can double up for any letdown that may come out while being heated!I did not end up keeping these as they arrived after my two days of intense engorgement ended, but would highly recommend for nursing mamas who need them for this purpose (or to increase milk supply)!

I was very excited to receive these nursing pads yet have been disappointed with each use. Unfortunately, you have to keep them dry – this isn’t always possible as many women leak (especially when the milk is coming in and this is a perfect time for when you may need these nursing pads). As it says on the instructions Do Not Wash – they are completely useless if you wash them.Unfortunately they can become very hot if you microwave them for too long and they lose their heat quickly. I would not recommend them, and would not buy them again.

These are just wonderful. I love the scent they have when warmed, and the material they’re made with is sooo soft. They feel wonderful on my sore breasts (my milk is just coming in and I’m experiencing some engorgement) and I also love the set of breast pads that were included. What an excellent product. As a bonus, I’ve been warming one up to place on my newborn’s chest during diaper changes as I feel the weight and the heat are calming for him. He was definitely significantly less fussy with this on his chest. Diaper changes are cold for babies! I also warmed one up and placed on his belly to help soothe him as he has been having some gas. So these are some lovely bonus uses for this product! Highly recommend.
