As a Pro Triathlete and Ironman Champion this is a must for any serious athlete
As a professional triathlete and Ironman Champion I have put my body under a lifetime of wear-and-tear in a much shorter period than most. In the past few years I have become fairly well known for reviewing recovery compression boots and along the way I was asked about percussive devices as well. This review reflects my opinion after six weeks of use with an estimate of 30 minutes a day.Although I struggle to find time to use all the recovery tools, each recovery tool has a specific purpose and this one is for targeting very specific areas of my body that need work. I love it for the calfs, glutes, pirformis, back, hamstrings, and quads. I have reviewed a couple of these percusssive devices now, mainly this one against the Theragun G3 and I can say that this is a fantastic device and I highly recommend it.I did a thorough test and FULL REVIEW of the Theragun vs Bivi on my own blog (just Goog my name and Bivi) with lots of pictures, videos, and more thoughts in general but the skinny is that it bested it the $400+ Theragun in many categories including:- Ease of use: (adjustable pivoting head) vs fixed head for Theragun- Batteries: (replaceable and comes with 2) vs non-replaceable for Theragun- Price: $145 vs $400 for Theragun- Durability / Warranty: both have 1 year, but Theragun has non-replaceable batteries and batteries break down over time.- Weight: 2lb 5ozs / vs 2lb 10oz for Theragun- Battery life: tested by me, both on high with no load, just pulsing, 56 minutes for Bivi and 50 minutes for Theragun.- Speed: didn’t test this objectively but spec is 2600 RPM vs 2400 for Theragun. Subjectively I prefer the speed and think it is faster than Theragun- Speed Levels: 1-6 levels of adjustability vs 2 for the TheragunHowever there are some things I like about the Theragun better- Noise: I tested both units on high with decibel reader at 1 foot from the tip and the Theragun came in at 85dB while the Bivi was 95 at speed 6 (87dB for speed 1)- Tip change – the Theragun has a pop-and-lock design while this one has a screw on design. It takes a little more time and work to screw on and off tips. Minor things but still nice feature of the Theragun.I hope this helps people out there! Feel free to ask any questions. I do not have a relationship with either company. Again, check out my own blog for more details.

The case is huge, machine works like a very loud hammer drill.
It is even more loud than the reviews say. Also the carry case is huge!!! I wanted something portable but this wasn’t it. If you want a hammer drill for a massager and are deaf, live alone; this is for you!Returned with refund minus shipping cost.

    Sent a used malfunctioning product
Sent a malfunctioning product that showed clear signs of use, power fluctuated poorly on “fully charged” batteries, wear from previous use on the speed dial knob, also missing attachment heads. The “free shipping” wasn’t so free because we had to buy a box to ship back to the company via UPS only. Will bite the cost on that. Def wouldn’t recommend this company

    Exceeded my expectations!!!
I spent a lot of time researching percussion massagers and finally rolled the dice and purchased the Bivi . I took a risk as compared to some of the bigger name percussion massagers there was comparatively not much out there in the way of reviews of the Bivi. Looking at the Bivi’s specs, it seemed to have features that two of the top brands were lacking with these better known brands’ massagers going around the $400 to $500 range. For example, one of the indicated that it did not come with a carrying case while the other came with a came; but had only one setting for massage intensity. I had the Bivi shipped to my office. It came in a shockingly large cardboard box. When I opened the cardboard box, there was another cardboard box. Inside of the smaller cardboard box was the Bivi box in the picture. It is such a nice box, I find it hard to get rid of it. Inside of this very nice box is an awesome Bivi carrying case which contains the Bivi massager, TWO batteries, a charger for the batteries, and ANOTHER small zipper carrying case for additional attachments. Wow! If this were not enough, I fired up the Bivi and allowed a couple of my co-workers try it with everyone immediately falling in love with it and wanting one. Everyone tried it on setting #2. When I got it home and looked at it further, I was able to see how to easily scroll through it’s SIX intensity settings. My wife, who has a lot of back problems, loved in; and really could not tolerate the intensity beyond #3. If you turn it up to #6, it is VERY powerful. I have seem some percussion massagers on the market that have a higher max RPM setting than this one does; but I’d have to wonder who would actually be able to tolerate power beyond what this one can do. I’d have to think that most people probably never use the higher settings on these more powerful models so it would be like owning a motorcycle that does 180 MPG when the fastest you’d ever consider going is 90. The only thing to which I cannot speak is charge time and how long the batteries last. If the battery life is decent; then having a backup battery to use while the other is charging is a huge plus. I would enthusiastically recommend this massager.
