REVISED REVIEW: I purchased the Valthie heated mattress pad last winter, and we loved it. However, this year I was disappointed to find it wasn’t heating properly. After recently leaving a review, the company immediately responded. Unfortunately, since so much time had passed from when I made the purchase, I wasn’t expecting a response. I had already replaced my mattress pad. I shouldn’t have been so quick to purchase a new one, but the thought of cold sheets with winter approaching … Anyway, Valthie made it right. Great customer service, definitely 5 stars! Thank youThier product:It does get very warm on the highest setting, which we enjoyed. However, if you prefer a cooler bed, it has adjustable heat settings (and dual controls), so you only need to find the setting that works for you. We also liked the long cords, so the control easily reached from the bottom mattress plug to the head of our bed (we have a Cal King). It’s comfortable to lay on, the fit is perfect, the pads plug is located at the bottom of the mattress. This isn’t a problem at all for us, but I can see it might be a problem if your feet reach the bottom of the bed.On the other hand: The cords on the new one I recently purchased are too short for the remote to reach the night table, we had to put a hook on the wall so we could reach the controls. We made it work, but it should have been caught by the manufacturer -who wants to reach to the floor in the dark to adjust the control?The new pad does have adjustable settings; however, it does not heat as hot as the Valthie did. We are older and missing the higher heat settings. Both pads are comfortable to sleep on, you can feel the wires, but it doesn’t affect our sleep and I’m a light sleeper. The annoying thing with the new pad (besides the low heat settings) is if you change settings during the night you have to go through the entire sequence to reset. Instead of going from 4 to 2 you need to go 4,5,6,1,2. Also, our new pad has a timer, but if you change the heat settings, the timer goes back to one, so 1,2,3,4,,5,6,7,8,9,10. I am regretting not buying another one from Vathie.The bottom line is next time I’ll use Vathie.

Oh the Cozy Bliss of a Warm Bed!!!!
The other day I realized that for most of the year I am actually cold. In the winter the heater doesn’t keep the house ideally warm and in summer the air conditioner makes things chilly. Fall and Spring are hot and cold alternately as the season is changing. So technically I need a heating blanket all during the whole year except for a few really hot weeks in the summer.This heating blanket is supremely well made. The connections for the wires is on the edge of the end of the bed so it doesn’t get in the way of your feet. Perfect placement! Also the wires are evenly distributed over the whole bed making it nice and warm.So far I’ve only been using the heat setting at #2 and the timer set at 1 hour to go off. That is perfect right now. If I’m reading in bed usually heating it up a bit before is ideal. The controllers are also very comforting for some reason. The little buttons are sort of cushy and the round shape of the controller fits easily in your hand.Oh the cozy bliss of a warm bed! I am so happy with this heated mattress pad that I can highly recommend it. As someone who spends a great deal of the day either reading in bed or sleeping in bed I am a creature of comfort. fits the bed perfectly. very comfortable. you cant tell your laying on a heating pad. no feeling of wires underneath of you. gets extra warm and stays on for a long time. I use this a lot for my back as i have two bulging discs with arthritic pain. i use this thing year round and i love it.

Display Lights Up + Durability
Game changer! I LOVE this for the cold winter nights. It helps me settle down before I fall asleep and keeps me asleep. I typically use the 1st setting because it gets HOT. The padding is not very comfortable, but I can’t feel the wires. I’ve had this item for several months and use it every single night. I like that the display lights up so I can see it at night. I also love the timer option. 4 stars because of comfortability, but many heated pads don’t have the light up option on the display and this one checks all the boxes! Fits on the king bed perfectly.

Perfect for cool weather
Don’t hesitate! When the weather is a little cool and you like the window open at night, but you still need a little heat, this giant heating pad is the answer. My bf and I are “beefy” people and this pad stays in place. you can barely feel any wires. I hope it lasts for years.
