Best value for the money, best type of calcium to take for improved absorption!
Years ago I began getting horrid leg cramps and was told by the ER doctor to try oyster shell calcium. Initially I thought he was nuts but in desperation I got some.They worked but had to take with magnesium as well. Have now been taking it for over 40 yrs but was finding it harder to come by as most pharmacies and stores sell the chemical types which dont work the same and dont absorb the same. This type works and is good for you and definitely helps with shin splints and other muscular charlie horse type muscle spasms. I like that for a 1000mg tablet its not that hard to swallow.i used to get the 500mg type but have had no problems swallowing this with a big swig or water or other drink. The value is incredible and this is similar to OsCal which is a lot more expensive or at least was , if its still on the market.

Oyster Shell
Can’t find oyster shell, calcium over-the-counter. Found it on Amazon, I have been using it for two years and it seems to work very well. The best part is that it is easy to swallow. I switched this time from the one with vitamin D to the one without it; We will see how it’s going to work.

Got Calcium?
I have hypoparathyroidism, and a calcium deficiency because of it. I have to take calcium daily. This ended up being the only type of calcium I tolerate, because others cause me problems with my stomach. This product can definitely constipate you, so I recommend taking it with something that helps with that, either eating prunes or drinking a little bit of Nature’s Way aloe juice a couple times a day. The aloe makes a big difference for me.I find that this calcium does help, and I do absorb it just fine. If I still feel like I need something more, I can always use a calcium patch.

Not much else to say. You get a ton of pills for the money, they’re easy to swallow even though they’re kind of big and you’ll be good for long time with just one bottle.
