Adorable and cozy
This little stuffed animal heating pad is very cute! It is just the right size for holding it against myself while curled up on a chair or in bed.It was pretty easy to remove the microwavable baggy from inside, but putting it back in, while very warm, was more difficult as I really had to maneuver and squish it, which I suppose I should expect with something like this.I haven’t used it for pain yet, but I used it for getting warm in our chilly basement. At first it didn’t seem as though much heat would escape from the inside of the outer ‘animal’ covering, but then it DID, it was very warm, and so cozy! I must admit that I did feel a little funny when my sister came into our room and found me sitting on a chair cuddling a stuffed animal!Anyway, it seems well made, works quite well for me and again, is so adorable!

Otter Heating Pad
Things I wish I knew before ordering this item:1. I was really trying to recreate a locally produced heating pad I once had that used 100% cherry pits. It was incredibly soothing and held heat really well. What I found with this product is that there was a lot of the other filler included and actually not very many cherry pits. My product had mostly the flax seed, which I could see going bad because of moisture quickly.2. It did hold heat pretty well and the added weight of the product helped soothe cramps. It was the first moderately weighted heating pad I have tried and honestly I will probably never go back to just the basic electric, thin, heating pads. The size was perfect for my lower abdomen.3. While I intended this for myself, my two sons really enjoy it because it is a cute otter shape.4. I don’t love the outer fuzzy material that is on the otter. While I realize that it is typical “teddy-bear-like” fur, I think that it will become matted and gross much faster. It also feels ultra synthetic in comparison to the “all natural” ingredients that the listing boasts for the internal filling.Overall, this product is cute and works as intended. I personally find it a bit overpriced for what I would want to spend on an item like this. I think that if the outer cover had a more natural feel and the internal filling contained more of the expensive filler, I would be fully content with the product and price.

A cute little heating pad that works well and has a surprisingly good scent
My daughter had been wanting one of these. It came well packaged with clear instructions. Neither of us had used a heating pad like this before. We put the inside pack in the mircowave for 1 minute on a plate to heat. This amount of time was based on our mircowave wattage. The pack felt very warm but not extremely hot.We inserted the pack into the stuffed otter cover and it felt warm and moist heat. There was a pleasant smell. I normally dislike strong smells and was worried putting this in the mircowave that it would make my whole house smell but it didnt. It was a very light smell of a wood type smell with a fruity untone. Hard to describe but it was rather nice smell.My daughter said it worked well for her stomach pains. It was not like a traditional heating pad. It was relaxing, moist warm heat. The size is smaller, but it was good for a my daughter’s size and targeting one area.I was pleasantly suprised with this item. It is a cute plush and works well and smells great.

Warm and cozy otter pad
I often get bellyaches during the cold seasons, so a friend of mine made two microwave bean bags for me. While I like the size and convenience of them, the beans inside always emit a burnt smell after I warm them up in the microwave.This fuzzy otter bean bag is a much better solution! The filling has a mix of millet, flax seeds, clay beads, and cherry stone, which makes for a better mix than just one type of bean. I like how the beans are evenly separated by the stitching, and won’t move around, so you get an even distribution of the natural fillings at the desired temperature for each area after microwaving. There is still a woody/bean smell which is okay, but I would prefer not to have any smell. I used a 1kW microwave and I warmed the bean bag for 40 seconds according to the instructions, the temperature didn’t reach as high as I would like, but it was toasty enough to keep my belly warm for over half an hour. I love the soft fuzzy exterior cover, and the cute cuddly otter is perfect for some emotional comfort too.

When you have aches and pain who wouldn’t want something cute and fluffy to cuddle with? I know I do, and this Otter Heating and Cooling Pad is perfect.This little guy is soft and fluffy, and fits perfectly on a tummy for cramps or your neck for aches or anywhere else you might need it.I love that there are no cords attached so you can use the pad anywhere. Just heat up the insert in the microwave or put it in your freezer if you need a cooling experience.The insert can take a bit of finesse to get it back in, but I imagine over time the material will stretch a little, making it easier.It does have a bit of a scent to it, kind of grainy, but it’s not unpleasant. I appreciate that the fillings inside are natural; clay beads, flax seeds, millet, and cherry stones. I also really like that it is machine washable in case anything gets spilled onto the otter.A great heating/cooling pad for both kids and adults. And I think this would make a wonderful gift for a girl when she first gets her period. Add some menstruating items and chocolate, and it could help ease her time of the month.

Cute yet functional heat pad
This Otter Microwave Heat Pad is absolutely so durable! It’s slightly larger than I was expecting, but it’s the perfect size for any body part. It’s so cozy, and slightly heavy, so I feel I get a consistent and constant heat without needing to hold it down manually the entire time. This matches the listing, and looks and feels well made. The outer material is soft and comfy, and actually machine washable. The inner heat pad is easy to take in and out, and the heat pad actually stays warm for a long period of time! This is a great novelty heat pad that’s both cute and functional
