Like sleeping on clouds
This thing was a game changer for my 12+ year old Tempurpedic mattress. I’m very sensitive to chemical smells and I was pleasantly surprised that this topper had pretty much no smell. It expanded quickly and the tiny bit of odor disappeared within 24 hours. The topper fit my full size bed perfectly and was so soft and comfortable. The only change I had to make was to place a towel between my mattress and the topper where my hips are on the bed because my rear was sinking too far into the topper. I have back problems from a car accident and my back needs to be fairly level. It worked perfectly. The towel gave that little bit of extra of support I needed. The topper was so soft and comfortable, I didn’t even need a pillow. I’ll be ordering one of these for my son’s bed and 2 to take to my mother in law’s house for when we stay there.

First, let me tell you that I’m 5’4” and 116 lbs as a point of reference. I think all reviews should include the general size of the person, as it may make or break.I mostly love this topper. I turned my mattress and the “new” area was HARD. It was difficult to sleep on my sides because it was so painful to my hips, and I was stiff and sore all day every day. I knew I had to do something quickly, so I chose this topper after looking around at several on here.I’m glad that I did. It’s really quite thick. It has enough firmness and loft that my hips don’t go all the way down to the mattress when I’m on my side. That’s a great thing! When on my back, I don’t feel the mattress underneath me either. I still have the support of the firm mattress, of course, but I only feel the cushion of the topper.As for “cooling gel” … I don’t feel any when I squeeze the purple swirls. I imagine that it’s in there if it says it is, but I don’t feel anything at all that seems cool to my fingers. It does retain a fair amount of heat for me. I’ve awakened sweaty a couple of times. I don’t think there really is any such thing as cool memory foam though. It does have a lot of little holes throughout it as pictured, and maybe that helps with heat dispersion or something; I don’t know. It’s hot enough for me to remove at least one star.There was VERY little odor right out of the wrap. The little bit that I did smell was gone in 24 hours. I only let it lay out for four or five hours before putting it on my bed, and it had already expanded pretty well. That was promising, and the immediate thickness and feeling of durability did not disappoint.Unless you really “sleep hot,” I think you’ll love this. It’s not horribly hot for me, but I definitely notice that I’m hotter with it than without it. It definitely doesn’t make me cooler than without it because of the supposed gel. Don’t expect to feel refreshed from any sort of coolness when you lie down. It’s not that type of cooling product.I do highly recommend aside from that. I can probably deal with the measure of extra heat because it’s really saved my bony hips and stiff back. I can’t speak to whether or not a heavier person would sink all the way through it to the mattress below, but it’s plenty thick and sturdy enough for me. Very much worth the money.

I actually really like this topper! Its very comfortable and not too firm. Im a side sleeper and wake up with no pain. Had it for a month so far and no complaints! Fits perfectly on my queen size mattress. I got the 3 inch

This foam topper did the trick!
I have an old spring mattress in my guest room, and I wanted to make the bed more comfortable. This foam topper did the trick! When my mom came to stay with us for a few weeks, she started using it on the second night, and immediately felt much more comfortable. The quality seems excellent, and it made a noticeable difference in support and cushioning. Just be sure to unpack it and let it fully expand according to the instructions for the best experience. Great value for the price!

Comfortable but not durable
I love foam mattresses for the feel, the comfort, the thin profile. I hate how fast they become “flat” in the spot where my fat butt lies. After about 6 months to a year, there is a “mold” made for you to sleep in with little cushion beneath. Durability is a problem with this mattress which appears to be degrading faster than my first one of the same type, size, thickness. This one is made kind of cheap based on my experience.

FOAM NOT THE DIMENSIONS LISTED ON DESCRIPTION (Review updated 7/17/25)
I would have given it a 5-star review but for the fact that it is advertised as a twin XL that is 80 inches long. I needed exactly 80 inches long as i was replacing a factory foam on my van bed so i ordered it. After letting it sit for 24 hours to fill in, it was only 77 1/2 inches long. Useless to me. Luckily the mattress on my wife’s side of the van was a little shorter and i was able to use it for her bed. I changed my review to 5 stars because the customer service was exemplary. They contacted me regarding my order. i assume they read my review which was less than stellar. They offered me a full refund or exchange. They offered to send me another mattress that they assured me would be the 80 inch long as described. It was delivered 2 days later. I let it sit for 4 days before measuring and the length was 78.5 inches. Unfortunately for me that doesn’t work. What i will say is everything was as promised except for the length but they are not manufacturers, they are sellers, and the sellers concern and follow-up was over the top. It became apparent to me that their concern for customer satisfaction is of a very high priority. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. I hope they can get this length issue resolved with the factory. So, for now, the foam is as promised quality wise. But keep in mind that even though the description is 80″ long it is only 78.5 inches long based on the order and the replacement as well. The mattress thickness of 4″ and width of 38″ was spot on.
