A little thin
It’s not as thick as it could be, but when you combine it with adequate padding, it will help keep you warm even outdoors on a cold night. I’m generally happy with this product, and may buy a second.

Added a soft layer to a twin size camp cot
This is for a twin xl bed, not a camp cot. But I needed something in a hurry, so Prime next day was important, I needed something larger than a standard camp cot mattress, I didn’t want to spend too much, and it needed to be easy to store, and it couldn’t be inflatable because of a dog who thinks it’s his bed. :)I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it made the cot, which I slept on all week while visiting. I’m 57, 5’8″ and curvy, (pleasingly plump) and this added a nice layer of softness to the cot. It plumped up even more after being washed and dried, and washed nicely (follow directions) with no shrinkage. The elastic bands held the pad firmly in place, and seemed very sturdy. I added a flat sheet to protect it, which tucked in nicely under the elastics, and completed my temporary bed with a top sheet, pillow, and fleece blanket. Very cozy, and my daughter was happy to have it on hand for future visitors.This is not what it is made to be used for, of course, but I believe it would be nice on a twin bed, too. Be aware that larger sizes might need to be washed in an extra large machine.:)

Too thin.
If you want a nice fabric that feels smooth and cool, this us great. If you’re using it for added comfort then do not buy this. It’s too thin. It’s not going to give any added comfort. It’s basically like laying on a comforter. It does not have thickness at all.

Very thick and comfortable
It fits well and is very plush and comfortable. I haven’t noticed it helping with my lower back pain though. The quality is wonderful as well as the thickness. Good value for the money.Performance as I said it doesn’t seem to help with lower back pain, but I am a co-sleeper, so they don’t make anything to help with that. HahaThe appearance is nice

Not thick at all!!
Definitely not what I was expecting. This is basically an unzipped sleeping bag. There is no sickness or substance to it. The description claims it is 1.5″ think. I folded this in half…the thickness doubled was less than 1/2″. I’m not sure how some people have something that is cushiony and feels like a cloud. This is so far from that.

Perfect for Ikea FRIHETEN Sofa Bed
I recently moved into my first place on my own. It’s a micro studio of about 200 soft so trying to keep as much floor space as clear as I can is important. I ended up deciding I wanted to get the Ikea FRIHETEN Sofa Bed to have a 3 seat sofa during the day and a full size bed at night. Plus there is a storage space under the seat for sheets to be stored during the day and the sofa pillows during the night. It was perfect…except that it was really firm. To be fair the IKEA description does say it is firm and I much prefer a firm bed to a soft bed. But this was uncomfortable for every night sleep. I knew I needed a matress topper and one that would be able to be folded and fit in the storage space during the day.This matress topper was definitely perfect for this job! It softens the bed enough to be comfortable but not too much to be pillow-y. It also folds up well and fits perfectly in the storage space under the seat. Plus it is washable! If you have a firm sofa bed, this is a great choice!
