Stable support for long runs and strong muscles
After three weeks, these calf sleeves have become as essential to my routine as lacing up my shoes—both during training and in the hours that follow—so I wanted to share how they’ve fared in real-world use. The first run was a revelation. I slipped the sleeves on before a five-mile run, which typically leaves my calves feeling heavy on the last hill. Instead of the familiar dragging sensation, the snug, consistent pressure made each stride feel more controlled, almost as if my muscles were being gently guided instead of being shaken and fatigued. By the end of the run, I was still struggling to breathe, but the typical tightness was greatly lessened once I began stretching. The immediate relief from the post-run stinging sensation convinced me to keep wearing them on my leisurely walk and the rest of the evening while I cooked dinner. The next morning, the stiffness that had previously required a foam roller had eased to the point where I could walk straight into the shower without wincing. It always returned to its original tension, with no sagging at the top or buckling at the seams. There was no wrinkling behind the knees, and the top cuff resisted rolling even during explosive squat jumps. Because it held so well, I could forget about it and focus on my rhythm, my breathing, or whatever podcast was playing in my headphones. I still did my regular stretching and hydration, but the sleeves seemed to take some of the work off of the massaging and weight-lifting tools. By bedtime after a long run, my legs felt fresher, and the next day I walked down the stairs without that familiar limp. The difference isn’t as sharp as flipping a switch, but rather steady and cumulative – each workout benefits from the one before it because fatigue isn’t as persistent. Just strap it on, start training, rinse it off, hang it up – and repeat.

Cost effective and just plain effective
I run a lot and like to throw on a set of sleeves whenever my calves start complaining. These are simple and effective and have been working well for me over several weeks. Be sure to select the right size based on the size chart. I found it to be accurate. The ones I received are snug but not too tight. The design at the top and bottom help them lock in and stay put. I haven’t had any issues with them slipping. At this price, they’re a no brainer.

Well made calf compression sleeves by DFND that need a more stretchy cuff material
The black size medium set of calf compression sleeves by DFND are made in the USA. The screen print inside one of the sleeves states the fabric is a mix of 65% nylon 35% spandex and 75% nylon 25% spandex. The medium size is rated for up to 42 centimeter calf circumference, and I am right at that. The medium fits me great at the ankle, but is super tight at the top of the calf. I think the cuff at the top needs better stretch. These sleeves did take me a while to put on due to the lack of stretch. They did do the job of greatly limiting the swelling in my lower legs. This set is a bit pricey, and I think a good value is in the $35 range when on sale. I found the sleeve part (not the cuff) to be quite comfortable on a thirty minute bike ride. The main sleeve material and stitching are well done. I recommend these compression sleeves, but I would suggest ordering a size up.3 stars

    Decent
Functional sleeves. These give decent support and compression but it’s lightweight. Nice quality and very easy to put on my legs.

Size chart is wrong on product page
I had high hopes for these calf sleeves since I experience leg fatigue and calf pain. I reviewed the size chart and the calf sizes were listed. According to the chart, I would take a size Medium, which is supposed to fit a calf size of 39″-42″ or 15 1/2-16 1/2 cm. That, of course seems terribly wrong, so I assumed they had the centimeter chart mixed up with the inches chart and the reverse would be accurate. A medium size seemed smaller than what I would ordinarily need in anything, but I assumed that since they were unisex, I would be taking a smaller size than usual. The product arrived quickly, and I immediately knew that they were way too small for me. According to the measurement of the item, the medium would fit a calf size of about 10″. Nonetheless, I attempted to put them on, thinking they might have a lot of stretch to them; they do not. The size chart on the package is completely different than the product page size chart. According to the size chart on the package, I would need an XL, so I cannot use these. If the vendor doesn’t input accurate information on the product page, how are buyers supposed to be happy? This might be a wonderful product, but people need to be able to order their correct size.

Effective Recovery Support – Good Quality, but Sizing Chart Needs Updating
I’ve been using these DFND compression calf sleeves after long tennis weekends, and they’ve made a noticeable difference in reducing foot swelling and easing heel pain. They offer excellent support around the calves and Achilles, helping speed up recovery and relieve soreness.I ordered a Medium, which fits me well, although my 14″ calf technically falls into a smaller size according to the chart. The top band is very tight, but still comfortable, and the material feels durable and high quality.Overall, these sleeves deliver solid results—great for recovery, circulation, and inflammation relief. I appreciate that they’re made in the USA, but I do think the sizing chart could use an update. Recommended for athletes and active individuals seeking reliable lower leg support.

    Not comfortable
I’ve used several compression sleeves and socks over the past year, and these are my least favorite. The material is a very strange synthetic blend that doesn’t breathe well. The sizing seems ok, but the top band is extremely tight. It’s so tight that I can’t wear these for very long without feeling like my circulation is cut off. The compression sleeves would hold themselves up just fine if the top band was relaxed a bit. The good part of these sleeves is that they actually do have good compression along the calves, which is hard to find.
