Customer Review –
Great price for the amount
I got these to check my hot tub and so far seems to be very accurate. They are easy to use, clear to read and fast acting. I compared them to my other test trips and they were very consistent. You get 50 which is pretty good deal. I highly recommend for hot tub use. Again, great value and would recommend.

Strips work
Good price for 50 strips. I like the packaging as it is set up to reduce potential contamination. These are packaged in a sealed bottle. Within the bottle they are also individually packaged in sets of ten. So at any one time you only have 10 potentially open in the bottle unlike other brands I have used that have them all open in the bottle. I also compared the results from these strips to another brand and try seem to be in alignment for the same water source so accuracy seems good.

qualitative data that won’t work for certain people with color vision deficiency
This pack of test strips is easy to use, and will likely alert the user to problems with their water quality, but I had no real way to quantitatively assess the accuracy of the results. There are individual foil sealed packets that each have 10 testing strips. I have well water, so chlorine is an additive that I’m not testing for, but I was wondering why my houseplants are suffering – turns out I have pH and alkalinity issues to correct.

Not accurate
I have used several times and constant showing of low alkalinity. After adding several pounds of bicarbonate and still showing low I went to a professional testing and found that I was instead high!

Easy to read and accurate results
The test strips arrived quickly, were well packaged, and undamaged. The test strips are easy to use and the results are easy to read. The results proved to be accurate and we have used other strips before that were more expensive and did not perform as well. We are happy with these strips and will purchase again when we run out of these.

Alkalinity is not accurate
I like that these are packed in 5 foil packages of 10.I found everything to be accurate accept the alkalinity. It is as if it is not even registering because the color does not change at all and I am positive my alkalinity is not zero.I have had a pool for many years and know how to read pool test strips.

The jury is out
I mostly need these to check chlorine levels in my water. I got several conflicting readings from the same tap. I like the stopper tube included. But am unsure of their accuracy. I checked the outside taps and got higher readings than the kitchen taps, but they were consistent. I really don’t trust the readings.

Accurate Test Strips
These strips will give you a good estimate of your PH, chlorine, alkalinity, and hardness. The pool store told me any test strips are just “estimate” strips, meaning they don’t give you an exact reading, but are good for estimating the chemistry in your water. I tested these strips against an exact water test done at the pool store and they were in the correct range. I do like that they come in individual packets of 10, so they will last longer and the moisture in the air won’t eventually activate them if I leave the lid open. I recommend this product.
